Thoughtfully sourced tallow
Our tallow comes from farms in Oregon and Southwest Washington that practice regenerative farming and raise hormone-free, steroid-free, and pesticide-free cattle. Their farm animals are raised with a whole lotta’ love.
How to use
Use a small dab as a face or body moisturizer. A little goes a long way. You can also use a small amount as a conditioning treatment for the ends of your hair.
Why we include a preservative
Moisture can get into a jar during use, and beef tallow exposed to moisture can become host to bacteria and mold. We choose to preserve our tallow products with a paraben-free, formaldehyde-free preservative at 1% to help protect against microbial growth.
Shipping, heat, and storage
Tallow can change consistency with temperature. It can melt when hot and harden when cold, and temperature fluctuations may cause texture changes or separation. If the texture changes, mix well with a sanitized spoon and keep in the refrigerator.
